The international #TogetherBrighter Summer School has ended in the All-Russia Educational Children’s Center "Orlyonok". The school gathered more than 100 schoolchildren from Russia and Armenia.
The summer school was organized by the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the United Nations Development Program through UNDP-RTF regional project. The coordinator of the educational program was the “Nadezhnaya Smena” Foundation.
The goal of the program is to promote respect for the environment and introduce modern energy saving technologies in everyday life and at work. The summer school united 11-16-year old schoolchildren who show interest in ecology, respect for natural resources, and have creative and leadership qualities.
The summer school partners were Rosatom, Rosseti, RusHydro, "Housing and Utilities Reform Fund" Corporations whose representatives organized for children educational and developmental activities on ecology, energy saving and energy efficiency in energy sector. The students also met with guests from the Energy Conservation Center, Japan who were invited in the frames of the “Cross Years of Russia and Japan” activities in 2018-2019.
